Shoe Record on Yorktown

Students participating in Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum's summer educational camp grab shoes to line up across the flight deck of the Yorktown, as they set the first Guinness Book of World Records for the longest line of shoes to traverse an aircraft carrier flight deck. The campers, using shoes loaned by Goodwill, took just 8 minutes 54 seconds to complete the task. Future campers in the July and August camps will attempt to beat the time set by the group.
