Celebrities include local TV news anchors and radio station DJs, South Carolina college coaches and graduates, TV show and reality show stars and professional athletes battled it out Saturday for glory - and charity. The Slim Down the South Celebrity Softball Challenge at Riley Park combined a family-friendly evening of softball and festivities, including a dedicated kids area and entertainment during and between innings, with the goal of raising awareness and money to combat childhood obesity.
