SEE AND BE SCENE: Sol Driven Train performs at Sol Slam held at the Windjammer, 8/3.

Sol Driven Train has taken over The Windjammer on the Isle of Palms this weekend for their second annual Sol Slam. The event kicked off Friday night with an extended show by Sol Driven Train and continues Saturday with live music by Fowler’s Mustache, Hey Rocco, Luke Cunningham, Guilt Ridden Troubadour, Gaslight Street, The V-Tones, Danielle Howle and Firework Show, The Reckoning, Wadata and Rachel Kate. And special performance aimed at the kids will be performed at 2 p.m. Saturday by Sol Driven. A portion of Saturday’s ticket and merchandise sales will go to Charleston Waterkeeper and Save the Light to help preserve some of Charleston’s natural and cultural resources.
