December 02, 2012 What once used to be a “casual but elegant affair” at Boone Hall Plantation has grown, aiming to become one of the finest holiday wine festivals in the Southeast. Attendees of this year’s event sampled wines provided by 15 distributors and eight wineries on Boone Hall’s back lawn. Folks also enjoyed a wine and food pairing exhibit, breads and spreads, and the champagne and desserts tent. Live entertainment was provided by local favorite Tyler Boone, followed by headliner Christopher Cross, a five-time Grammy winner. The 21-and-over event benefitted the American Red Cross.
