Charleston International Film Festival: Opening Night
X

SEE AND BE SCENE: Doug Friedman and Joy Vandervort-Cobb at the Charleston International Film Festival Opening Party held on George Street, 4/24.

The Charleston International Film Festival, back for a sixth year, kicked off five days of films, workshops and fun Wednesday night with their Opening Night party. Attendees mingled at a reception held on George Street in front of the Sottile Theatre before heading into a surprise feature screening. The film, “What Maisie Knew,” a drama about a young girl is caught in the middle of her parents' bitter divorce starring Alexander Skarsgard and Julianne Moore, was kept a surprise until the event. With a mix of shorts and feature-length films, along with numerous informative and educational workshops, there’s still plenty to see as the festival runs through Sunday.
