June 21, 2013 Put on by Summerville DREAM (Downtown Restoration, Enhancement and Management), June’s Third Thursday event in downtown Summerville was dedicated to dance. After a soggy few days, the weather finally broke long enough for folks to enjoy some time outside. The Local Motion Party Band had folks Shaggin’ on the Square, Hutchinson Square that is, as dancers of all ages participated in the fun led by the Summerville Shag Club. The regular Art Walk on Short Central Avenue featured art and craft booths and live music from Joseph Tedesco. Shops and restaurants were opened late with events and specials, and classic cars lined “Little” Main Street.
