August 25, 2013 Who doesn’t love Lucy? The folks at Irvin-House Vineyards do, and they know that there are more than a few folks out there who do, too, as the highlight of Saturday’s Grape Stomping Festival was the Lucy Look-A-Like Contest. “I Love Lucy” fans were asked to don their best Lucy costume and reenact the famous 1956 episode where Lucy takes a job in a vineyard, and they certainly didn’t disappoint. Celebrating their 10th year, the festival also featured live music from Bret Mosley and Guilt Ridden Troubadour, local craft vendors, food trucks, wine and Firefly Vodka tastings, and more. Kids were entertained with a jump castle, face painting and hula hoops, as well as their own stomping competition. A portion of the proceeds were donated to Frierson Elementary School and Lowcountry Local First.
