January 08, 2014 Some of the area's top bartenders competed Tuesday night for the title of Charleston's Next Top Cocktail. Held at The Cocktail Club, a select few vied for the title by trying to impressing the crowd and the judges with their concoctions. Featuring Grey Goose vodka and Tequila Herradura, bartenders had to use one of the two spirits in their creations. Grey Goose competitors included Donald Goodemonte, Mike Feldman, Lindsay Raines, James Wolfe, John Aquino and Jim Mccort, while Tequila Herradura competitors included Chris Parise, Evan Powell, Sarah Marie Martin and Jonathan Calo. The winner of the competition will be announced in the March issue of Charleston Magazine and will have their drinks featured under the tents at Baker Motor Company Charleston Fashion Week, which runs March 18-22.
