January 12, 2014 The South Eastern Wildlife and Environment Education Association, better known as the SEWEE Association, again held its annual Music and Oysters for Wildlife event on Saturday at the Sewee Outpost in Awendaw. The fundraising event featured all-you-could-eat Bull’s Bay oysters, barbecue, burgers and sweets, along with a variety of wines and beer from local breweries. In addition to food and drink, the afternoon was filled with music from Ed Hunnicutt, Red Dog Ramblers, Mark Bryan and Occasional Milkshake, Doug Jones and Danielle Howle + Firework Show. Headlining the event was the Blue Dogs, who recently marked their 25th anniversary. The ninth annual event also included a live and silent auction, with proceeds going to the SEWEE Association.
