April 04, 2014 Billed as the largest women’s-only tournament in the world, the Family Circle Cup kicked-off its 42nd year last weekend with the Draw Ceremony on the Grand Lawn, where players found out who they were competing against. With a field that includes Venus Williams, Jelena Jankovic, Sara Errani and Sloane Stephens, among others, the tournament, which runs through Sunday, is sure to satisfy tennis enthusiasts. In addition to the tennis, the Family Circle Cup includes numerous family-friendly activities and promotions, including a Happy Hour featuring drink specials, tastings and live music. Tuesday night’s Happy Hour, the first of four, featured live music by Calvin Taylor, while Thursday night’s Happy Hour featured music by the Blue Dogs. Both Happy Hour events were held at the Ketel One Racquet Club on the Grand Lawn.
