April 21, 2014 The 20th annual Gospel Fest put on by Project L.O.V.E. was held on Easter Sunday at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. Billed as the longest-running outdoor gospel music festival of its kind in the Southeast, attendees enjoyed a mixture of local and regional artists, including Jarrell Smalls, The Sam Dennis Singers, Bishop Brian D. Moore and the Life Center Cathedral, Extreme Praise and Nyki Smalls. In addition to the music at the center of the event, folks also enjoyed a variety of Lowcountry foods and a new play area called Kids World, which featured inflatable jump castles, colossal games and its own stage.
