May 17, 2014 Attendees of Friday’s Forget-Me-Not Ball partied for a purpose: to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The ninth annual masquerade event kicked off with an extended cocktail hour and a silent auction. The evening then proceeded with dinner, a live auction and dancing. Dave Williams of WCIV TV News Channel 4 acted as master of ceremonies for the night, which will feature music by Finger Snappin’ Entertainment. Funds raised at the event went to help support the Alzheimer’s Association, South Carolina Chapter, which aims to eliminate the disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
