June 07, 2014 James Island County Park’s summer concert series Reggae Nights kicked off on a new night, Friday, with a performance by De Lions of Jah. The Jacksonville, Fla.-based band opened the series with two sets of dancehall, dub and roots reggae. Hungry concert-goers were able to purchase Caribbean-style dishes and other festival foods at the event. Crafters and other vendors were also set up on-site, displaying local handmade crafts and souvenirs that were available for purchase. The family-friendly series features three more shows, with the lineup including ReggaeInfinity, Da'Gullah Rootz and Mystic Vibrations; bands are subject to change.
