August 09, 2014 Saturday was a busy day for those participating in the Charleston Pride Festival. The day started off with the Pride Parade, moved last year from North Charleston to downtown Charleston. Revelers lined the streets to cheer on those walking, riding and performing in the moving show. Later in the day, Brittlebank Park was flooded by Pride Rally revelers. Compete with a beer garden, food trucks performers, speakers and vendors, the afternoon event was a riot of color enjoyed by young and old. Later that night, Mad River hosted the Pride After Party.
