94th PGA Championship
When: Today-Sunday
Where: The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island
Tickets: Grounds tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are sold out, but are available for today at a price of $110. Champions Club seats for all four days of play are available and are $700 for an individual and $6,500 for a group of 10. Active military personnel will receive complimentary grounds access when they present a valid active military ID at the admission sales and will call office on the day of attendance; one additional spouse ticket also will be complimentary with an active military ID.

As if the PGA Championship doesn’t offer enough entertainment, there are numerous events going on around town that are golf related in honor of the tournament.
Family Fun Zone Tour
What: The Get Golf Ready Family Fun Zone Tour is a golf festival traveling to Charleston area parks and other designated Charleston locations. Each day, those in attendance will have a chance to win a pair of tickets to the 94th PGA Championship and a variety of other prizes. The tour will generate awareness and interest in the game, while directing attendees to local golf courses for fun programs.
When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday; 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday; 2-6 p.m. Sunday; and 6-8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday
Where: The Meadow Tent at Palmetto Islands County Park on Thursday; the Picnic Center at James Island County Park on Friday; Marion Square on Saturday and Sunday; and Charleston RiverDogs Baseball games Thursday-Saturday.

Concerts by the Lake
What: Bring chairs and/or blankets and groove to some of the best tribute bands around. Catch U2 by UV, a U2 tribute show, Thursday; A1A, a Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, on Friday; and Yacht Rock Revue, performing soft rock hits from the ’70s, on Saturday. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the 19th Hole Pavilion and food trucks.

Island Golf Challenge
What: Sponsored by SeaCoast Sports and Outfitters and TaylorMade, attempt a 100-yard wedge shot to a treacherous 24-foot island green in the middle of the lake. Swing for daily and weekly prizes. All proceeds will be donated to The First Tee of Greater Charleston.
When: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. through Sunday

Chip Shot Shootout
What: A chipping contests for all ages will be held by The First Tee of Greater Charleston, which will be out raising funds and awareness. The First Tee aims to positively impact the lives of local youths by providing structured educational programs that build character and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

Bridgestone Challenge
What: Discover the best ball for you at the “Bridgestone Golf Challenge” at the Ball Fitting Booth.

TaylorMade Experience
What: Try out the newest equipment from TaylorMade, including the renowned RocketBallz fairway woods and hybrids. The TaylorMade Tour Truck, which travels to nearly every PGA Tour event in the United States, will also be on site.

Painting on display
What: A painting illustrating the first shipment of golf clubs arriving in Charleston, known as the birthplace of golf in America, will be on display. This is the first time in five years that the painting will be available for a public viewing. Prints of the piece by Charleston artist Carol Ezell will be for sale for $34.99. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Blessings for Becky, a fund created in honor of the late Wonder Worker Becky Moran, who recently died of colon cancer.

Performance Center
What: Stop by the Performance Center for a complimentary golf swing analysis from a PGA professional using ball flight, video and swing vest technology. ‘Let’s Move on Course!’
What: This event is presented by the Hospital for Special Surgery in support of Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” campaign, which strives to combat childhood obesity by encouraging healthier food alternatives for children and increasing opportunities for physical activity. Check out the pedometer distribution kiosk.

First Tee to Be
What: Bring a school supply item and receive one free round of mini-golf or one free pass to the indoor play deck. All of the collected school supplies will be donated to the 2012 First Day Festival for Charleston County schools.
