Harvest Festival
Join the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission for the 11th annual Harvest Festival, which centers on the tradition of giving thanks for the season’s bountiful harvest. This family-friendly event will feature a day of feasting, music, games and fun. Enjoy bluegrass music from five local bands and keep the kids entertained with hayrides, a stick pony corral, pumpkin decorating, penny diving, lasso demonstrations, crafts and more. New this year is a barbecue cook-off featuring local restaurants, which attendees will get to sample for $1 each then vote on their favorite. Roasted boiled peanuts, kettle korn and more will be available for purchase, along with cold beverages.

Mount Pleasant Beerfest
Mellow Mushroom in Mount Pleasant will hold its third annual day of craft beer tastings and music for charity. Benefiting the Carolina Youth Development Center, this event will feature more than 25 local and national craft breweries serving up more than 50 craft beers for unlimited tasting. Mellow Mushroom will supply the food while jam bands Schema and The System provide musical entertainment.
When: 12:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday

Charleston Fine Art Annual
This 14th annual fine art event brings together more than 20 nationally renowned artists whose works are showcased exclusively at Charleston Fine Arts Dealers’ Association galleries. Events include an art stroll and receptions ahead of Society 1858’s Rock, Scissors, Art on Paper party on Friday; art demonstrations, the Art on Paper fair and the Buy Art! silent auction and reception on Saturday; and the Art on Paper fair again on Sunday.

The Fur Ball
Put on by Pet Helpers, this eighth annual fundraiser is the biggest for the organization and raises money for pet rescuing efforts. The theme for this year is “Gatsby Glamour and Flapper Fabulous,” so break out your roaring ’20s wear. Entertainment will be provided by Dance FX, and a live and silent auction will be part of the fun. Food and drinks will be provided.

This third annual YEScarolina gala and fundraiser is all about celebrating youth entrepreneurship. In the rustic and elegant setting of the Tuscan countryside, enjoy dinner before getting your bidding paddle ready. A live and silent auction will be held with items including a culinary tour of Italy, a custom Zoe Damacela dress, BB&T Charleston Wine + Food Festival tickets, a Napa Valley wine country tour, college game day tickets and more. CSOL Tour of Homes
The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League will hold its 15th annual Tour of Homes, a fundraiser that benefits the CSO and will help provide music scholarships for students and professional musicians throughout the Lowcountry. The event features self-guided tours of five homes on Kiawah Island, plus two free performance at the Freshfield Village Green. The Kidszymphony and the Youth Orchestra of the Lowcountry will perform at 11:30 a.m., and the Charleston Symphony Orchestra will perform at 5 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
