WEZL’s Evening with the Stars

Charleston native Darius Rucker returns to the Lowcountry, bringing with him country stars Josh Turner and Rodney Atkins. The benefit show will be an “in-the-round” format, with all three artists on the stage simultaneously with a backing band behind them. With proceeds going to MUSC’s Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network, expect to hear lots of country tunes and some Hootie & the Blowfish favorites.

Wiz Khalifa

Rapper Wiz Khalifa, probably best known for his three-times-platinum hit “Black And Yellow” – the unofficial anthem for the Pittsburgh Steelers and played at Charleston Battery soccer games – is coming to Charleston. The 24-year-old Grammy nominee has embarked on The 2050 Tour with the Taylor Gang, and will be working hard so attendees can play hard come showtime. The concert will also feature special guests Juicy J, Chevy Woods, Lola Monroe, Tuki Carter and Berner.

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas

In its 27th year, the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas is coming to North Charleston for one show only. Part of the North Charleston Performing Arts Center’s Best of Broadway series, expect to hear the favorite Christmas music of Mannheim Steamroller combining the group’s signature mix of Renaissance instruments with rock ’n’ roll beats, along with state-of-the-art multimedia effects in an intimate setting. Named one of the top 20 concert tours in the nation last year, this show will not disappoint.

Wine Under The Oaks

What once used to be a “casual but elegant affair” has grown, aiming to be one of the finest holiday wine festivals in the Southeast. Sample fine wines provided by 15 distributors and eight wineries on Boone Hall’s back lawn, enjoy a wine-and-food pairing exhibit, breads and spreads, and make sure you hit the champagne and desserts tent. Live entertainment will be provided by local favorite Tyler Boone, followed by headliner Christopher Cross, a five-time Grammy winner. This event is for ages 21 and over. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The American Red Cross.

‘A Merry Medieval Holiday Show’

Presented by Boeing South Carolina and the South of Broadway Theatre Company, this show will take viewers on a humorous journey through the early miracle plays of the middle ages.
