Air Force Tops In Blue

The Tops In Blue is an all-active duty Air Force special unit made up of amateur performers selected for their entertainment abilities. One of the oldest and most widely traveled entertainment groups of its kind, the Tops is made up of 35 to 40 vocalists, musicians, dancers and technicians, with the primary purpose of performing for military personnel and their families throughout the world. The performers also act as America’s goodwill ambassadors around the globe. This special show is free and requires no ticket. It is first-come, first-served as far as seating goes. This is one you won’t want to miss!

Restaurant Week

One of the most highly anticipated culinary events in the Charleston area, Charleston Restaurant Week offers folks the opportunity to enjoy prix fixe menus at participating restaurants. Put on by the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, this event is incredibly popular and reservations are highly recommended.

Blue Man Group

Combining comedy, music and technology in an awe-inspiring show, Blue Man Group has been dazzling crowds the world over. The three performers dressed uniformly in bald caps and blue paint utter not a word, letting their antics and acts speak for themselves. This first-ever theatrical tour features new content highlighted by classic Blue Man favorites. This is one you’ll have to see to believe.

Monster Jam

Returning after six years, the world’s premier monster truck series, Monster Jam, returns to the coliseum. Approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide, monster trucks are custom-designed machines that sit atop 66-inch-tall tires and weigh a minimum of 10,000 pounds. Built for short, high-powered bursts of speed, monster trucks are capable of speeds of up to 100 miles per hour and can fly up to 125 to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air. The show will feature monster trucks Mutt Rottweiler, Iron Man, Virginia Giant, Storm Damage, Hurricane Force and Higher Education. Also, as a special treat from 5-6:30 p.m. Saturday, fans will get the opportunity to get a view of the trucks up close and meet the drivers for $10 at the Party in the Pits.
