Music legend Johnny Mathis will be performing at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center on Jan. 25, and tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. today.
Mathis launched his career with an appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show” in 1957. With more than 55 years under his belt as a recording artist, he has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame twice, was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2004 and has the honor of having his “Greatest Hits” album on the Billboard Top Albums Chart for an unprecedented 490 continuous weeks (almost 10 years).
