Long-time friends and occasional band mates Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell are hitting the road together and plan on making a stop at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in January.
Harris, who is known for her straightforward songwriting and her expressive singing, has 12 Grammy Awards to her name.
Crowell, who has released 20 albums over four decades, has won a Grammy, an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers lifetime achievement award, and is in the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
The duo will take the stage at 8 p.m. Jan. 31.
Tickets, which range from $48-$96, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and are available at the North Charleston Coliseum Advance Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets (including select Publix stores), charge by phone 1-800-745-3000 or online at Ticketmaster.com.
