The Tedeschi Trucks Band, the 11-member collective led by husband-wife duo Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, has announced a stop at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.
Led by Trucks’ signature slide-guitar sound and Tedeschi’s “honey-to-husk” voice, the band delivers a blend of blues, soul, jazz and rock.
The band debuted big with their album “Revelator,” scoring a Grammy for Best Blues Album as well as being named Album of the Year at the Blues Music Award.
The band is currently touring behind the release of their second studio album, “Made Up Mind,” which debuted on Billboard’s Top 200 at No. 11.
Tickets for their local show, set for 8 p.m. Jan. 17, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and are $47.50.-$69.50.
