Haunting Halloween fun continues throughout the weekend

Halloween is finally here.

After a month full to the brim of Halloween fun, the big day is finally here. While many, including myself, celebrated last weekend, there’s tons of stuff on the schedule for the hard-core folks looking to eek out every ounce of celebration.

Today

Halloween in the Old Village

What: Mount Pleasant families are invited to bring their kids ages 2-5 out for some early fun. Trick-or-treating, themed games and crafts will be held in the building, while a jump castle and pony rides will be available outdoors. Attendees can also have their faces painted, watch a magic show and go aboard a fire truck to visit members of the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.

Night of Mischief

Crave Diablo Dinner

Costume Contest

What: This costume contest goes to the dogs, and kids. Kids up to 12 will be able to compete for “best dressed” while the Doggie Costume Contest will be at 6:30 p.m.

Trunk or Treat

What: A fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating, this event will see kids going from trunk to truck gathering candy from participants. All kids will get a hot dog, drink, candy and prizes.

Halloween Feast

What: Kevin Getzwich and Jeremiah Schenzel will team up to prepare this Halloween Feast. In addition to the food and drink, the event will include a costume contest with cash prizes, a silent disco featuring four DJs, and live music from the likes of McKenzie Eddy, Ben Fagan and the Holy City Hooligans, and Cowboys and Indian. Tickets are limited and available only online.
