John Mayer with Phillip Phillips
Grammy-winning singer-songwriter John Mayer is on an extended tour, his first following a three-year hiatus, behind his recently released sixth album, "Paradise Valley." The album, released in August, debuted at No. 1 in four countries, ranking in the Top 10 in another eight. Mayer is widely known for his guitar skills and his numerous hit songs, including "Waiting on the World to Change," "Your Body Is a Wonderland," "Say" and "Daughters," among others. Also performing will be Season 11 "American Idol" winner Phillip Phillips, known for his songs "Home" and "Gone, Gone, Gone." Mayer is using the tour to raise funds and awareness of the effects of post-traumatic stress on military veterans. One dollar from each tour ticket sold will go to the Northern California Institute for Research and Education.
