Drunk History, the weekly, half-hour Comedy Central series, will be coming to Charleston to film on Jan. 15-16, according to their Facebook page.

Based on the award-winning and wildly popular web series, the show features "historical reenactments by A-list talent are presented by inebriated storytellers."

Host Derek Waters, along with an ever-changing cast of actors and comedians, travel across the country to present history from select towns, and "booze helps bring out the truth of our nation's history."

The Facebook post making the announcement about the visit to Charleston seeks participants: "Come out to see us. We're looking for locals who love Charleston. Derek Waters(me) will be interviewing you. ... Will let you know where we'll be soon."
