The reality television show filmed last year on Murrells Inlet will be making its debut on Jan. 16 on CMT, according to the show's Facebook page.
"Party Down South" is billed as a show that follows "eight rowdy Southerners for one wild summer in South Carolina." The cast, ages 21-31, are from Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Kentucky and North Carolina.
Produced by the same folks behind "Jersey Shore," the filming of the show stirred complains from locals about noise and litter. Georgetown County Council later passed a filming ordinance in response to the complaints.
The show was filmed at King's Krest, a large waterfront house.
