Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey are bringing the 143rd edition of the "greatest show on Earth" to the Lowcountry for a five-night stand. Complete with an array of animals, including elephants, tigers and horses, the show will include "over-the-top feats of strength, agility and courage." Built To Amaze! opens with the all-access pre-show where folks are invited to join the fun and meet the international cast of performers as they prepare for the show. With more than 110 performers representing 17 countries and 95 exotic and domestic animals, this show is sure to entertain the whole family.

WWE Live presents Road to Wrestlemania

The bygone era of "rasslin'," where the lines were clearly drawn between good guys and bad guys, has been replaced by today's version of "sports entertainment," with all the glitz and glamour of a major Broadway production. And local wrestling fans will get a chance to witness the spectacle up close and personal when World Wrestling Entertainment, the industry's gold standard, brings its Road to Wrestlemania to the area. Slated to appear at the event are World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, WWE Champion Randy Orton, The Rhodes Brothers and much more.

Celtic Woman

Celtic Woman, an all-female Irish musical ensemble, has set out on their latest tour, The Emerald Tour, and will be making a stop in the Holy City. The all-new stage production celebrates Ireland and the Emerald Isles' Celtic heritage through a presentation of traditional Irish anthems, pop standards and original music. Described as "Riverdance for the voice," the revolving cast of Celtic Woman has sold more than 6 million albums cumulatively under that group name. During The Emerald Tour, Celtic Woman will be joined by world class musicians, the Aontas Choir, bagpipers and championship Irish dancers to complete the show.

Pet Helpers Oyster Roast

Pet Helpers has teamed up with Shelter Kitchen + Bar and Awendaw Green to make its 13th annual oyster roast bigger and better than ever. The roast will feature all-you-can-eat local oysters, chili and chicken bog; adult beverages from Palmetto Brewery and Budweiser; live music from The Dunder Chiefs and MOZO; a silent auction; adoptable dogs; and a "smooch the pooch" kissing booth. The Shelter Kitchen + Bar will be hosting events before and after the roast, including Brunch with the Pups, Yappy Hour and Party for the Pups, offering a complimentary shuttle to and from the Bus Shed for the main event.

Mardi Gras Pawrade

The local Krewe of Charles II group is putting on the inaugural Mardi Gras Pawrade to benefit Water's Edge Animal Rescue. Animal lovers and their pets are invited to watch and/or participate in a walking parade featuring costumed canines and their companions and floats. A Post-Pawrade Extravaganza will take place after the 2 p.m. stroll ends and will feature food, music and more.

Carolina Challenge Cup

The Charleston Battery is hosting the 11th edition of the Carolina Challenge Cup over the course of a week. And though the double-header games began last weekend, you still have an opportunity to get in on the action. The four-team round-robin preseason tournament features the local Charleston Battery and Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders, appearing for the first time, the Houston Dynamo and U.S. Open Cup champions D.C. United.
