America's No. 1 syndicated TV series, Wheel of Fortune, is seeking contestants and will be holding tryouts this weekend.
The Wheelmobile, the show's promotional vehicle, will be at the Tanger Outlets in North Charleston, 4840 Tanger Outlets Blvd., on Saturday and Sunday seeking "good game players who are energetic, enthusiastic and fun."
Fans of the show will have an opportunity to fill out an application, have his or her name drawn at random to play a simulated version of the game on stage, win unique prizes and be evaluated for being a potential contestant on an upcoming episode.
The Wheelmobile is scheduled to be parked in the Southeast portion of the parking lot, located between the Nike Outlet Store and American Eagle. In case of inclement weather, the event will move to the covered corridor adjacent to Kay Jewelers and Sunglass Hut.
Contestant searches will be held at noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., with applications handed out an hour before each event.
Wheel of Fortune airs weeknights at 7 p.m. on WCBD News 2.
