It looks as though Charleston is being tapped for yet another television show.
Reported yesterday afternoon by Charleston Grit, a casting call was issued for singles in Charleston for a new TV show produced by AL Roker Entertainment and "a Major US Network."
According to the casing call, the show is seeking single men and women ages 18-24 to star in a series about "dating in difficult environments."
Various attempts to contact the company for verification and further details about the show were unsuccessful.
For those interested in applying for the show, applicants can email firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "single." The email should include photographs, a brief bio, "any relevant links" and a description of what it's like to date in Charleston, according to the release.
