From the forest to the sea, the second Bull's Bay Nature Festival will feature a variety of outdoor adventures. Activities will include bird watching at Tibwin Plantation, a Wambaw Creek paddle, raptor flying demonstration, youth fishing workshop, youth archery workshop and a presentation by naturalist Rudy Mancke. With an aim to bring communities together to celebrate public lands and outdoor recreation, there will be various events for the whole family, including youth archery, fishing and sweet-grass basket-making workshops, stand-up paddle boarding, reptile and red wolf showings, nature art programs, the DNR fishing simulator, raptor flying demonstrations by The Center for Birds of Prey, family fishing in the ponds and more. Various hikes, kayaking trips, auto-tours and talks will be happening throughout Francis Marion National Forest and Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge.
