Flag Day Burger and Beer Festival
Is there anything more American than a burger and a beer? The folks behind the Flag Day Burger and Beer Festival couldn't agree more, celebrating the holiday that commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States, which happened on that day in 1777. In addition to marking Flag Day, the event also serves as a fundraiser for the Charleston Animal Society and Pet Helpers. The festival will see "the best local burgers and local beers brewed in the state" all in one place. With a number of restaurants on board, attendees are sure to find a burger or two that suits their taste. The family- and pet-friendly event will also feature live music.
When: Noon-6 p.m. Saturday
Where: Holy City Brewing, 4155 Dorchester Road, North Charleston
