Spyro Gyra and The Yellowjackets
This year marks a major milestone for Spyro Gyra as the jazz fusion group celebrates its 40th anniversary. During that time, members have performed more than 5,000 shows, released 30 albums (not counting "Best of" compilations) and sold more than 10 million albums. Since the breakthrough album "Morning Dance" introduced Spyro Gyra to the world 35 years ago, members have shown little sign of slowing, as evidenced by their current tour. The Yellowjackets, an American jazz fusion quartet, will also perform.
When: Sunday, doors open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m.
Where: Charleston Music Hall, 37 John St.
