Goo Goo Dolls & Daughtry with special guests Plain White T's
After more than two decades as a band, the Goo Goo Dolls have 10 albums to their name and have a catalog of songs that have become ingrained in the pop consciousness, including "Iris," "Slide," "Black Balloon" and "Name," to mention a few. After all this time, the band is still seeing success, with three of the band's songs making the Billboard's Top 100 of 1992-2012 list, "Iris" standing at No. 1; that song has also connected with a new generation as Dolls fan Taylor Swift has been performing it at her concerts. The Goo Goo Dolls will perform locally with Daughtry and special guests the Plain White T's. If the name Chris Daughtry sounds familiar, it should, as he was a finalist on Season 5 of "American Idol." The North Carolina-based singer-songwriter and bandleader has since released four albums, including "Baptized," which features the hit single "Waiting for Superman." The Plain White T's is a pop punk band from Chicago best known for the No. 1 hit song "Hey There Delilah," as well as "1, 2, 3, 4 (song)" and "Rhythm of Love." Family Circle Stadium concerts are held rain or shine; seats are subject to weather conditions. Tailgating, camping, vending and overnight parking are strictly prohibited.
When: Tuesday, gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the show starting at 7 p.m.
