Solust: Summer Solstice Music Festival
There are numerous ways one could celebrate the first day of summer, and more and more events honoring the summer solstice are popping up on the scene. One such event is the Solust music festival at Legare Farms. The all-day event "follows in the tradition of celebrating the grand energy source that makes all life possible." With nine local and national acts lined up, attendees will be able to enjoy a variety of music while they check out food and beverage vendors. Billed as a festival that embodies the true spirit of summer, performers include The Dirty Guv'nahs, Huey Mack, Cisco Adler, Robby Hunter Band, Timmy D., The Executives, Dead 27s, Stereo Reform and Dank Sinatra.
When: Noon-10:30 p.m. Saturday
Where: Legare Farms, 2620 Hanscombe Point Road, Johns Island
Price: $30 for general admission, $200 for VIP (includes an open bar, food and a private lounge)
