Charity softball game
Next week, the South Carolina Highway Patrol will slug it out with the Georgia Highway Patrol in a charity softball game to benefit Special Olympics. Major League Baseball player and celebrity coach Orlando "O-Dog" Hudson will meet fans and give autographs. First pitch for the softball game will be at 4:30 p.m. followed by the RiverDogs game at 7:05 p.m., where it will be Law Enforcement Appreciation Night. Tickets are available at Crews Chevrolet, 8199 Rivers Ave, in North Charleston.
When: Tuesday, softball game starts at 4:30 p.m. with the RiverDogs game starting at 7:05 p.m.
Where: Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park, 360 Fishburne St.
Price: $5, includes admission to the softball game and RiverDogs game
