There's a great card game called " '90s Music Trivia" that made us nostalgic for grunge, Brit Pop, boy bands (um ... not really) and the sweet summer jam of Will Smith's "Summertime."
Can you guess what this week's Head2Head trivia topic is going to be?
Robin Lopez, last week's winner, is being challenged by Chad Hess, who's sweating it out this summer as a dog walker.
QUESTIONS
Which two members of 'N SYNC were Mouseketeers on "The New Mickey Mouse Club"?
What band wanted you to "Hold My Hand?"
Which two New Kids on the Block were brothers?
What famous star appeared in Paula Abdul's "Rush, Rush" video?
Who sang "Renegades of Funk?"
What rap star died on Sept. 13, 1996?
In what movie did Alice in Chains perform as themselves in a bar?
Who was the original drummer for Nirvana?
Oasis and Blur were part of what '90's music scene?
"The World is Yours" is a song from the 1994 debut album of what rapper?
ROBIN'S ANSWERS
One was definitely Justin Timberlake, and the other one was ...? I have no idea.
Hootie.
Was a big fan. Jordan and Jonathan Knight.
I'm not sure. This is a guess, but was it Patrick Swayze?
Oh, you got me on this one.
Kurt Cobain?
"Singles."
I'm going to say Dave Grohl, but I'm betting that's wrong.
Brit Pop. Loved Oasis.
P. Diddy?
CHAD'S ANSWERS
JT was one.
Of course, Hootie and the Blowfish.
No clue.
Again, I don't have an answer.
Rage Against the Machine.
It was either Biggie or Tu Pac. I'll go with the first.
"Empire Records."
Wasn't it Dave Grohl?
I don't know.
Method Man.
CONCLUSION
Well, neither contestant did that great about '90s music trivia, which kind of surprised us at Head2Head considering that both of them lived through the decade.
But what's important is not how many correct answers you get but that you get more than your opponent. Lopez answered just enough correctly to continue as Head2Head trivia champ for another week, making it two in a row.
CORRECT ANSWERS
Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez
Hootie and the Blowfish
Jordan and Jonathan Knight
Keanu Reeves
Rage Against the Machine
Tu Pac
"Singles"
Chad Channing
Brit Pop
Nas
